AL Si12 is a special coated electrode designed for welding all types of aluminium castings.Typical applications include welding, surfacing in the manufacture and repair of window frames, aluminium pipes, furniture, aluminium castings, engine blocks, car parts.The electrode has a coating specifically designed to reduce moisture entrapment. For thicker materials (³ 15 mm) preheating from 150ºC to 250ºC is recommended.
