ELOX R 309 MoL is a rutile electrode for welding high-strength
non-alloyed and alloyed steels, heat-resistant steels, ferritic and
austenitic steels.
- The weld metal contains a high percentage of ferrite phase and is characterised by high cracking resistance.
- The weld metal is molybdenum-alloyed and has a low carbon content.
- Welding is carried out in all spatial positions.
It is used for the production of pressure vessels at high temperatures, details and steel structures made from austenitic and ferrite steels, articles made from corrosion- and heat-resistant steels as well as for transition layers when restoring worn-out components and for surfacing/ cladding layers with special properties.
