The electrode with 1.5% lanthanum has the best properties of all tungsten electrodes. It is suitable for both direct and alternating current welding at high and low currents. It is the most “universal” electrode, which has the same arc stability as WT electrodes and the same excellent ignition properties as WC electrodes. It is marked in gold.
